Ford GT voted "Most Beautiful Supercar of the Year"

Ford’s all-new GT has been crowned "The most beautiful Supercar of the Year’" at the International Automobile Festival in France.

The carbon-bodied GT beat the Ferrari 488 Spider, Honda NSX and Cadillac CT6 to claim the prestigious prize.

Awarded by a jury of experts and enthusiasts from motor sport, architecture, fashion, design, culture and media, including Jean-Michel Wilmotte (architect and president of the jury) and Chantal Thomass (fashion designer and vice-president of the jury), the International Automobile Festival Awards recognize the finest automobiles and artistic projects of the year.

This year’s event marked the start of an annual Concept Cars Exhibition staged at Les Invalides, Paris, at the end of January.

The all-new GT is the pinnacle of Ford innovation in aerodynamics and lightweight carbon fiber construction. It is powered by a new twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine, the most powerful EcoBoost production engine ever.

In June, the GT will return to France to tackle the most famous endurance race in the world - Le Mans 24 Hours, fifty years after the original GT’s historic 1-2-3 finish.
