According to a recent report, Cadillac is working on a new race car, which is based on the ATS Coupe, to replace the CTS-V Racing Coupe which was introduced three years ago.
Racer says Pratt & Miller Engineering is leading the development and is already lapping the ATS race car in Michigan for testing. The car will be built to GT3 specifications and could use a twin-turbo V6 engine powering the rear wheels.
The ATS race car could be unveiled for the 2015 season, so expect to learn more in the coming months.
