Dacia has officially revealed the 2014 Duster facelift, ahead its public debut scheduled for next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

According to the Romanian carmaker, the revised Duster adopts a modified front end which includes a new grille which has been adorned by two chrome-plated strips, a reworked air intake and new double-optic headlights with LED daytime running lights. There's also new roof bars with slatted supports and 16-inch “Dark Metal” alloy wheels wrapped in mud & snow tires.

At the back, changes are more subtle and include slightly redesigned taillights, a chrome-plated tail pipe and new badging, which further boost the car’s personality.

David Durand, Head of Styling for the entry range, said "We built on the appeal of the original model and its proportions. Identity components such as the grille have been modernised. We have also strengthened the 4x4 cues of the vehicle, while keeping all its useful features. The new Duster gets an even stronger character while retaining its initial DNA."
