Following its public debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the GTA Spano was once again the main lure when attending the Goodwood Festival of Speed last weekend.
Its soul is a supercharged 8.4-liter V10 engine which develops 900 hp and an electronically-limited torque of 1,000 Nm that allows the supercar to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 3 seconds before reaching a top speed of more than 217 mph (350 km/h). Power is sent to the wheels via a 7-speed automatically sequential transmission with paddle shifters or via a 7-speed manual sequential.
Limited to just 99 units, the 2013 GTA Spano tips the scales at 1,350 kg (2,976 lbs) thanks to a carbon fiber body and 19-inch front / 20-inch rear wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires. It features front/rear double wishbone suspension, multi-self-adjusting shock absorbers, electronically-regulated wing and an AP Racing brake system with 6 piston callipers.
