The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster has been launched this week in the United States for a starting price of $795,000 plus taxes. That's $33,500 more expensive than the Coupe version.
However, Auto Motor und Sport reports that the open-top Aventador is already sold out in every market around the world until mid-2014. This means customers, who haven't pre-ordered the supercar, will have to face a lengthy wait or pay extra to get the model earlier
Called the most exclusive and exciting production model ever, the Aventador Roadster is powered by a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine that develops 700 hp and 690 Nm of torque. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and hit a top speed of 350 km/h.
