Volkswagen has recently introduced the new Beetle R-Line (the R-Line package for the European Beetle Sport) exclusively for the European market.
Starting with the exterior, the model features a new front bumper with larger air intakes and chrome surrounds, new side skirts, a rear diffuser and body-color mirrors. There's also R-Line badges on the fenders and 18-inch "Twister" alloy wheels or optional 19-inch "Tornado" alloy wheels.
Inside enhancements include two-tone sport seats with the R-Line logo on the headrests, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and "Dark Vanadium" trim.
The R-Line exterior package will start at €1,290, while the interior package costs €1,675. The Beetle Sport is offered with three engines: a 1.4-liter TSI with 157 hp, a 2.0-liter TSI with 197 hp or a 2.0-liter TDI with 138 hp.
