The 2013 Mercedes SL-Class has recently been received a new tuning program from German tuner Brabus.

For the exterior, the model is outfitted with a aerodynamic body kit which includes new bumpers, revised side skirts, side air vents for the front fenders, a trunk-mounted spoiler and Brabus Monoblock wheels in 18-, 19- and 20-inch size.

Inside, the cabin comes with premium leather upholstery, a scuff plate with black Brabus logo, wood / carbon fiber trim and a new speedometer which tops out at 320 km/h or 360 km/h (200 mph or 225 mph).

Under the hood, the twin-turbo 4.7-liter V8 engine has been equipped with a 520 PowerXtra CGI power kit which allows it to produce 512 hp and 820 Nm of torque. Now the convertible can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250, 275 or 300 km/h.

To cope with the extra power, the German tuner installed a 40 percent locking limited-slip differential, a sports exhaust system with four chrome-plated tailpipes and a Bilstein custom-tailored suspension that reduces the ride height by approximately 25 mm.
