Toyota Motor Corp has just announced plans to unveil the RAV4 EV at the 26th International Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS26) on May 7 in the City of Angels.
Details are limited, but in concept form which has been developed in cooperation with Tesla Motors almost two years ago (including the battery, motor, transmission and power electronics), it only weighed 100 kg more than the RAV4 V6 and could travel up to 161 km on a single charge.
