The first full image of the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu


GM has revealed the first full picture of the 2013 Malibu before it launched at the Shanghai Auto Show.

The first image, showing the complete vehicle from the front, a more streamlined body, sharper lines and a purposeful stance give the car a more premium look, which should bode well for its new global status.

According to Chevrolet, the new Malibu will be sold in nearly 100 countries on six continents. Currently, There’s no word on whether the previous generation’s V-6 or hybrid system will return however GM Group only confirmed that the Malibu will apply the powerful 4-cylinder engine and fuel efficient, along with six-speed transmissions.

As planned, the new Malibu will officially launch at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 19. Two days later, the new Malibu continues to debut at the New York Auto Show. Expected, it will start appear on the market next year. The current Malibu will continue to fill the gap until the new Malibu appear.
