Aston Martin Valkyrie: What we know so far

Aston Martin Valkyrie

Aston Martin has recentley revealed more information about their sleek, ground-breaking hypercar - the Valkyrie. Aston Martin already have a deep and globe-spanning reputation for providing classy, exceedingly well built cars that help satisfy the eponymous 007.

The Valkyrie is a car that even the elusive James Bond would feel anxious around, and instead of driving it would prefer to transport it using a safe service like Shiply found here https://www.shiply.com/de/autotransporte for all of his top-secret mission needs. This would arguably be a better approach to denting the car, as it certainly looks like it was forged from some greek mythological tale itself. Teaming up with the British F1 brand, both brands have crafted one of the most eye-catching cars to ever grace a press release.

The press release is stock full of interesting content. To read it in full, follow this link: http://www.astonmartin.com/en/live/news/2017/07/11/aston-martin-valkyrie-secrets-of-exterior-and-interior-design-revealed. Here’s what we’ve learned so far:

It has a dream design team

The teams working on this car would make those at Bugatti blush. Not only are the best minds from Aston Martin working on the car, but they are also being propped up by Red Bull Advanced Technologies - that’s right, some of the best minds responsible for Felix Baumgartner's space fall. Not only that, but project partner AF racing have been contributing plenty of ingenuity to the process. This meeting of minds could only produce something truly magnificent, and we can’t wait to see the results.

Batman would be jealous

The aesthetic makes the batmobile look clunky and difficult to drive. The Valkyrie features a teardrop shaped cockpit and contours that best aerodynamically appropriate the most comfortable space for the driver to maneuver in style, flying in the face of the hypercar trend of focusing on only aesthetics at the cost of everything else. This teardrop shape allows the driver to experience plenty of room inside the vehicle, increasing its comfort levels tenfold. No one expects to enter a hypercar to relax, but it’s a nice touch, and shows Aston Martin's dedication to providing cars with substance to the market.

Not only that, but massive Venturi tunnels have been implemented on either side of the carriage space, meaning that the massive amounts of air the car needs to reach those dizzying speeds while still remaining glued to the road.

A pure driving experience is prioritized

There’s no overly flashing gizmo’s to distract your attention here (another reason for Batman to feel jealous.) Instead, a pure driving experience is promoted by all the gear controls located on the steering wheel so the lucky driver will have zero reason to take their eye off the road, save the odd unfortunate sneeze. The teardrop cockpit also allows for a wide viewing angle of the road, so its driver will feel aware and present of all of their surroundings, a plus when traveling at breakneck speeds.

There’s no doubt that you’re convinced that you want it. Unfortunately, a price has not yet been revealed, but unless you have millions of dollars lying around, you might just have to start saving.
