Ford China has just announced the pre-sale price for the F-150 Raptor, its imported high-performance pickup. The first model that has been imported into China is the all-new F-150 Raptor SuperCrew, priced at RMB 560,000.
Based on the existing franchised export dealership network, Ford China will further integrate and extend the F-150 Raptor network, better serving truck consumers in China by leveraging the decades of truck experience of another partner in China - Jiangling Motor Company.
A world leader in trucks, Ford has sold more than 26 million F-Series trucks since January 1977. The F-Series has reigned supreme as the top-selling truck in America for 40 consecutive years, and has been the country’s best-selling vehicle for 35 years. The F-150 Raptor - the toughest, most powerful, and most capable F-150 Raptor ever - marks the first-ever official export program for the F-Series and F-150 to China.
Developed with the DNA of a Baja race truck, the F-150 Raptor is unique among off-road and performance vehicles, with a purpose-built engine, chassis and suspension - all of which enable it to travel quickly over challenging desert landscapes or crawl over rocky terrain, from Baja to the Gobi Desert. As the first global truck brand to enter China’s high-performance truck segment, Ford is giving its customers in China the chance to experience unprecedented levels of off-road capability.
Ford is introducing the all-new F-150 Raptor SuperCrew with specifications and configurations chosen with Chinese consumers in mind. The F-150 Raptor SuperCrew boasts a 3,708 mm wheelbase - longer than the standard SuperCab model - which provides more legroom and comfort for passengers in the second row, more cargo space, and - with four full-size doors - more convenience.
