Lamborghini has recently released an onboard video with a new Aventador SV lapping the Nürburgring track.

With a lap time of 6 minutes and 59.73 seconds, the Aventador SV is one of just three road legal cars to dip below the 7 minute mark. The Radical SR8 LM currently holds the track record, closely following by the Porsche 918 Spyder.

First unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show 2015, the Aventador SV gets the 6.5-liter V12 engine uprated to 750 hp together with a 50 kg total weight reduction. The 0-100 km/h time is 0.1 seconds quicker, down from 2.9 seconds to 2.8 seconds. Top speed remains the same, stated as being "somewhere in excess" of 349 km/h.

The Aventador SV will start reaching customers late this spring with pricing in United States kicking off at $493,069.
