Tecnicar Lavinia could become Italy's first electric supercar

Tecnicar Lavinia

Italian carmaker Tecnicar is currently working on a high-performance electric supercar, named the Lavinia.

According to our source, the Lavinia is apparently powered by an electric motor which produces 800 hp. This could allow the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 300 km/h.

The car is presently under development and it is still hazy when it will be completely finished. Outline of the Lavinia is done by Giuseppe Ferrazzano, while these 3D renderings are made by Angelo Granata. More details are expected in the coming months.
