Evanta Barchetta unveiled at Goodwood Revival

Evanta Motors has officially unveiled their eagerly anticipated Barchetta at the Goodwood Revival.

Inspired by the design language of 1950s motorsport with sleek, sweeping curves and low profile, the sports car will be hand-built in Britain using traditional coach building methods. Two different versions are planned - one with a composite kevlar body (£125,000) and one with aluminum body (£165,000).

Limited to just 148 units, the Barchetta will be powered by a potent 6.2-litre LS3 V8 engine which produces 450 hp. It can be mated to either a manual transmission or an automatic transmission.

The company intends to sell the Barchetta beyond the UK market and will consequently create right-hand drive and left-hand drive versions.
