According to a new report from Car Magazine, Audi will introduce the second generation A5 Coupe in early 2016.
The new A5 Coupe will feature an aggressive front end with single frame grille, larger air intakes and matrix LED headlights. It will be based on the updated MLBevo platform which promises to be lighter, stiffer and more efficient.
Engine options will likely include a 1.8-liter TFSI with 180 hp, a 2.0-liter TFSI with 245 hp and a 3.0-liter V6 TDI with 258 hp. Front-wheel-drive will be standard, while the Quattro AWD system will be available as an extra cost option.
The Audi A5 Coupe will go on sale in spring 2016 while the Cabriolet is expected six months later.
