The New York Auto Show is just around the corner so Honda has announced plans to introduce an all-new compact crossover at the annual event.

Details are limited, but the Japanese carmaker confirmed the model will go on sale this winter. Nothing is official but previous reports have indicated it could be called the HR-V in the United States.

Under the hood, the mysterious SUV will likely be offered with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine which produces 130 hp and 154 Nm of torque.
