The more powerful Opel Cascada Turbo has reached German dealerships at a starting price of €29,490.

Made its debut in September at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Cascada Turbo is powered by a 1.6-liter ECOTEC Direct Injection Turbo gasoline engine which produces 200 hp and 300 Nm of torque. This allows the car to provide a fuel consumption of 6.7-liter / 100 km (42.1 mpg UK or 35.1 mpg US) with corresponding CO2 emissions of 158 g/km and hit a top speed of 235 km/h.

According to the German carmaker, the Cascada has gained two additional body shades called pearlescent Emerald Green lacquer and double-layer metallic Magnetic Silver. Moreover, the premium soft top with exceptional thermal and acoustic insulation can now be ordered in light Khaki Grey, increasing the selection to four roof colors.

Meanwhile, the cabin receives a new-generation IntelliLink infotainment system which comes with a seven-inch high-resolution color monitor that also displays images from the optional rearview camera.
