Hyundai has announced the 2014 Azera will have a starting price of $31,000, which is a reduction of $1,250 over the 2013 model.

According to the Korean carmaker, the entry-level Azera comes equipped with a six-inch color LCD audio display, rearview camera, a driver blind-spot mirror and a new electroluminescent gauge cluster with color LCD trip computer.

Meanwhile, the Limited version cost $34,750 and receives an eight-inch navigation system, power-folding side mirrors, dual automatic temperature control, ventilated front seats, cooled glove box and front heated seats (optional rear heated seats available).

Motivation is provided by a sophisticated Lambda II 3.3-liter direct-injected V6 engine which develops 293 hp at 6,400 rpm and 255 Nm of torque at 5,200 rpm. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC manual control offering smooth shifts and gear ratios that ideally suit engine torque delivery characteristics. The Azera's powertrain also has an Active Eco mode, which modifies engine and transmission control for improved fuel economy.

The 2014 Hyundai Azera can return 19 mpg city / 29 mpg highway / 23 mpg combined. It rides on 18-inch Hyper Silver alloy wheels wrapped in 245/45 R18 tires but can be configured with optional 19-inch Hyper Silver alloy wheels with 245/40 R19 tires.
