A new report from Automobile Magazine is indicating that the more powerful versions of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be introduced shortly.

Specifically, the S65 AMG will debut this November at the Los Angeles Auto Show with a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 engine which produces 621 hp and 999 Nm of torque. This could allow the luxury sedan to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in less than 4.5 seconds.

Meanwhile, the S600 will be unveiled at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show with a "detuned version" of the S65's engine which develop 510 hp and 829 Nm of torque. The S600 will be a rear-wheel-drive model, while the S65 AMG will be offered only with 4Matic all-wheel drive.

Both cars will go on sale across the world in early summer 2014.
