Frankfurt 2013: Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna

The Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna concept has made its debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.

It features a unique new look in color schemes, materials and finishes which will be available on the Quattroporte starting next year. The exterior features a special effect paint finish that simulates the fluidity and purity of metal, by using ultra-fine aluminium pigments. A gloss black primer amplifies the brilliance of aluminium pigments and creates a unique liquid effect. This special paint also applies to the 20-inch Mercurio alloy wheels, with an elegant mirror-polished finish that creates a chromatic contrast, both technical and sporty.

Inside, the cabin is finished in classical warm hues such as moka and greige which reflect Zegna’s latest men’s fashion collections. Interior components including the seats, door panels and roof lining are finished in genuine soft leather, in addition to a velvet-smooth, bright fabric that, due to Zegna’s vast experience and know-how, guarantees the level of performance needed for automotive applications.

Under the hood, the Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna concept is powered by a V8 twin-turbo engine which produces 530 hp and 710 Nm of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 307 km/h.
