Skoda has just introduced a new "StylePLUS" version of the Rapid which brings several cosmetic tweaks.
Based on the Ambition trim, the latest special edition comes with a few glossy black finish touches on the boot lid rear spoiler, exterior rear-view mirror covers and the bars on the front bumper and side doors. It can be configured with new xenon headlights and front fog lights with the so-called 'cornering light' function.
The Rapid StylePLUS rides on two-tone black & silver 17-inch Ray alloy wheels and is offered in four body colors: Denim Blue, Corrida Red, Sprint Yellow and Candy White.
Inside, the cabin gets distinctively-shaped seats, stainless steel pedals, leather-wrapped steering wheel and a piano lacquer finish to match the new dashboard inserts in piano black. The handbrake and gear stick are also covered in leather, while the sound system features a radio/CD player which can also be fitted with an Amundsen+ satellite navigation system with DAB function upon request.
Under the hood, the Skoda Rapid StylePLUS is available with a 1.2 MPI engine with 73 hp, two 1.2 TSIs with 84 hp or 103 hp (with six speed transmission), a 1.4 TSI with 120 hp, and two 1.6 TDIs with 88 hp or 103 hp.
