Lexus has officially confirmed plans to introduce the all-new IS at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
"Inspired by the acclaimed LF-CC concept and with design cues of the LFA, the 2014 IS has been completely redesigned, inside and out," the Japanese carmaker said in a statement.
According to Autocar, the new IS will ride on a shortened version of the same platform that underpins the GS. The sedan also gets a revised suspension, a luxurious interior and a Drive Mode Selector that will offer eco, normal and sport modes.
