Volvo has recently announced the 2013 XC90 will start at $39,500 in the United States.

According to the Swedish automaker, the crossover comes with a number of changes to celebrate its tenth anniversary. As you can see in the image, the model has body-colored bumpers, wheel arches and side skirts. There's also a new bumper bar, special texture for the mirrors and 18-inch alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the R-Design gets a monotone exterior, LED daytime running lights and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin has also been slightly refreshed with "sanded silver" trim, white instrumentation lighting and a leather strap on the tailgate. Premier Plus and Platinum versions adds Sovereign leather seats, unique floor mats and red wood trim.

Under the bonnet, the updated XC90 in the U.S. is powered by a 3.2-liter V6 engine with 240 hp and 320 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the standard two-wheel drive (or an optional all-wheel drive system) via a six-speed automatic transmission.
