BMW M5 ACS5 Sport by AC Schnitzer revealed


AC Schnitzer have officially revealed the ACS5 Sport, based on the BMW M5, ahead of its world premiere at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

According to the German tuner, the F10M M5 ACS5 Sport features a carbon front spoiler lip, a chrome front grille, new side vents, a rear roof spoiler and a carbon diffuser. There's also a suspension system lowering the car by approximately 25 mm, a revised rear aprons with trapezoidal tailpipes and 21-inch alloy wheels (Type VIII or Type V) wrapped up in performance tires.

Under the hood, the BMW M5′s 4.4-liter V8 has been tuned to develop 620 hp and 790 Nm of torque - an increase of 60 hp and 110 Nm. This allows the ACS5 Sport by AC Schnitzer to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds (0.2 faster than the standard BMW M5) and hit a top speed of 305 km/h.
