Honda to Debut 2012 CR-V and 2013 Fit EV in Los Angeles

Honda has promised it will launch the 2012 CR-V and the 2013 Fit EV at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show.

In an official statement,  the automaker said “Honda will debut two all-new models, the 2012 CR-V and 2013 Fit EV, at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 16th at 1:05 pm PST. As one of the best-selling SUVs in the United States, the fourth-generation 2012 CR-V will showcase new exterior and interior styling, improved fuel economy and added technology features. The all electric zero-emissions Fit EV concept vehicle debuted at last year’s Los Angeles Auto Show and the production model will be revealed this year”.

The 2012 CR-V will be equipped by a 2.4-liter gasoline engine with 175 hp or a new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with 201 hp. It is linked with a 5-speed automatic instead of newer 6-speed automatic that are leading the industry.

For the 2013 Fit EV, it will be powered by a lithium-ion battery and an electric motor used in the automaker's FCX Clarity fuel cell vehicle. The range should be 100 miles (160 km).
