Aston Martin has once again celebrated success in the latest readers’ vote for the "Best Cars 2016" held by German automotive magazine auto motor und sport.
The 2016 awards were presented in Stuttgart and decided entirely via readers’ votes, the Aston Martin Vanquish was awarded first place in the Sports Cars Import category. Meanwhile the four-seat, four-door Rapide S was voted second in category Luxury Class Import.
Filippo Bellanti, Operations Manager Central Europe, said: "We are extremely delighted that the Vanquish was awarded this prize by the readers of Germany’s most important car magazine. Our flagship grand tourer represents the height of Aston Martin design, engineering, technology and craftsmanship. We thank the readers of auto motor und sport for their votes."
For the 40th time, auto motor und sport has presented Europe’s most important award "Best Cars". Over 115,000 readers participated in this year’s vote, they were able to choose their favourites out of 364 models in 11 categories.
