Porsche Asia Pacific delivers 3,316 cars in the first 6 months

Porsche Asia Pacific concluded the first half of the year with positive growth of 108% in the region (January 1 to June 30) with total sales of 3,316 cars.

The iconic rear-engine 911 deliveries remain steady, the arrival of the 911 GT3 RS is in high demand in the region. The Boxster and Cayman deliveries continue to be strong and developing. Both the two-door-sportscar regional sales performances are strongly promoted by the attractive and sporty GTS models.

In fact, 30% out of total 440 units of the 911, Boxster and Cayman sold are GTS models. Significant contribution from the Macan boosted the deliveries, with 1,833 units, in the first six months of the year. Cayenne models such as the exciting Cayenne GTS also strengthen the performance of the SUV lineup to 908 units.

Martin Limpert, Managing Director of Porsche Asia Pacific, said: "We have exceeded our target figures by the first half of the year. The sales performance in our markets is continuously increasing. On top of that, with highlight models such as the 911 Carrera GTS, Cayenne Turbo S, Panamera Exclusive Series and Panamera Edition, we maintain optimistic for the second part of this year. Meanwhile, with the growing customer base, we continue to put our energy to further emphasize on sports car culture, sharpen the Porsche brand and most importantly, focus our attention heavily in providing outstanding purchase and ownership experience to our valued customers."
