The first Lotus Evora 400 has recently rolled off the assembly line in Hethel.

Set to be used as a promotion car, the first Evora 400 has a metallic black exterior and a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 engine which produces 400 hp and 410 Nm of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 4.1 seconds and hit a top speed of 300 km/h.

In a statement, Lotus CEO Jean-Marc Gales said "Today is a very significant stage in our long term plan, which we set-out more than a year ago. With the first Evora 400 coming off the line, we have achieved a key milestone for Lotus."
