Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG to debut in Detroit

2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

According to a recent report, Mercedes-Benz will introduce the C450 AMG at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show in January.

Powered by an upgraded twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine with approximately 367 hp, the C450 AMG is designed to slot between the regular C400 and C63 AMG. It will be the first in a series of performance models that don't receive the full AMG treatment.

During the next few years, the German carmaker will launch similar models for its other lines, including the CLA, E-Class and GLK.
