Basketball star Marco Belinelli, the first Italian to win an NBA championship, recently visited Automobili Lamborghini's Sant'Agata Bolognese HQ. Belinelli, who won the 2013-2014 championship with the San Antonio Spurs, is also the first Italian to win the NBA Three-point Shootout during the league's 2014 All-Star Weekend.

Accompanied by Automobili Lamborghini's Industrial Manager Ranieri Niccoli, Belinelli enjoyed a close up view of both the Coupe and Roadster versions of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 as well as the new Huracan LP610-4, which has been a huge success with customers all over the world since it first made its debut a few months ago.

He also visited the Museum and its collection of classic Lamborghinis and the manufacturing plant where the most desirable sports cars in the world have been assembled since 1963.

Marco Belinelli ended his visit with a test drive of the Aventador LP700-4 Roadster together with Mario Fasanetto, test driver and test technician at the House of the Raging Bull.

"This has been a truly unique experience for me, a childhood dream come true. When I was little I used to watch the Lamborghini Diablo fly past at my home nearby. Getting into the Aventador today was so exciting, I just hope I'll have another chance to do it again soon," said Belinelli.
