Video: Aston Martin CC100 Speedster revs its engine

Aston Martin CC100 Speedster

Youtube user Marchettino has recently filmed the Aston Martin CC100 Speedster at the 2013 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. In the clip, you can hear the one-off supercar starting up and revving to the redline filmed from many points.

Developed to celebrate Aston Martin's centenary, the two-seat concept is a tribute to the DBR1 which British racing legend Sir Stirling Moss drove to victory at the 1959 Le Mans. It has a 6.0-liter V12 engine mated to a six-speed hydraulically actuated automated sequential manual transmission. This allows the 1,200 kg car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in around four seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 290 km/h.

The CC100 Speedster has been sold to a wealthy client for an estimated price tag of between $770,000 and $1,540,000.
