In a recent interview, Kia's European Vice President of Marketing and Product Planning has revealed the company is very keen to add a production version of the Provo concept.
Speaking to Auto Express, Benny Oeyen said "The Provo is a possible niche we can venture into. Our brand is currently rational, but there’s space for a B-Coupe. We will now do some market research to see if people would buy it - it has to make financial sense."
The production Provo would be based on the same front-wheel drive platform as the Rio and slot in as a halo model for the B-segment lineup, which includes the Rio, Venga and the new Soul set to debut at the 2013 New York Motor Show later this month.
