At the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, Shelby American has launched three limited editions of the Ford Mustang to celebrate the 50th anniversary, named the 50th Anniversary Edition Shelby GTS, GT350 and Super Snake.
Only 300 anniversary editions that will be built. In which, there will be 100 of each Shelby GT500 Super Snake, GT350 and GTS editions. According to the carmaker, only 50 white and 50 black units of each special edition of the Shelby 50th Anniversary Edition will be made.
The three special editions will feature gold stripes to signify the golden anniversary, six piston front brakes, special wheels, custom interiors, commemorative 50th anniversary badging and a unique VIN number that will be entered into the official Shelby registry.
Future owners will receive a museum delivery ceremony at the Shelby plant in Las Vegas.
