According to the carmaker, the 2012 MINI Roadster will be available in three flavors. First up, the Cooper Roadster is priced at $24,350 and is powered by a 121 hp 1.6-liter inline four engine, allowing it to accelerate 0-96 km/h in 8.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 198 km/h.
Next, the Cooper S Roadster will start at $27,350 and is powered by a 181 hp 1.6-liter turbo engine, allowing the car to hit from 0-96 km/h in 6.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 225 km/h.
Finally, the top of the range MINI Cooper JCW Roadster carries a $34,500 sticker price and is equipped by a 208 hp 1.6-liter turbo engine. This allows it to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 6.3 seconds and hit a maximum speed of 235 km/h.
All prices stated exclude the $700 destination and handling fee. It is interesting to point out that the two-seater Roadster is $600 cheaper than the equivalent versions of the four-seater Mini Convertible.
