2012 BMW 6-Series gets 640d xDrive version


BMW has recently announced the 2012 6-Series will get a 640d Diesel xDrive version.

According to the German automaker, the upcoming BMW 640d xDrive will definitely become a best seller in the new generation of the 6-Series lineup thanks to its high performance offered and low fuel consumption.

The 2012 BMW 6-Series Coupe with the 640d xDrive version will be powered by a 3.0-liter straight-six TwinPower engine with 313 hp and an impressive 630 Nm of torque between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 250 km/h. All power is available with an average fuel consumption of just 5.7-liter/100 km and only emits 149 grams of CO2 per km.
